About Pogosh CDS

A clinical decision support engine built to bring structured, evidence-based reasoning to the point of care — not a chatbot, not a search engine, but a system that thinks through a case the way a consultant does.

What It Is

Pogosh CDS is a structured clinical decision support system covering 413 medical conditions across emergency medicine, internal medicine, interventional radiology, surgery, and other specialties. For each condition, the system encodes the clinical reasoning an expert would apply: which labs are high-yield vs ancillary, which imaging studies to order and why, when to escalate, which specialist to route to, and how lab results change the management plan.

Unlike AI chatbots, every recommendation in Pogosh is traceable to a specific clinical rule. The system is designed for integration — developers and clinical teams embed it into EMRs, clinical apps, and AI assistants via a simple JSON API.

Emergency, internal medicine, surgical, IR, and specialty conditions with complete workup logic.
JSON API
RESTful API with structured responses. Integrates with any EMR, app, or AI assistant in minutes.
<200ms Response
Deployed on Cloudflare's global edge network. Built for bedside use where speed matters.
Traceable Rules
Every recommendation references the clinical rule that generated it. No black box reasoning.

The Problem We're Solving

Clinical guidelines exist in PDFs, journal articles, and reference apps that require physicians to stop, search, interpret, and apply — all while under pressure. Pogosh removes the lookup step by embedding the reasoning directly into clinical workflow.

Experienced clinicians don't need to be taught — they need a system that validates their reasoning, surfaces what they might be missing, and makes the decision tree executable rather than just readable.
